About us

Everything you want to know about us starts in 2006, in a two-room office in Amsterdam where the first crate of LED torches was unpacked by hand. Silvergear now ships gadgets, audio, smart home and outdoor gear to more than 200,000 households in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France.

What we sell, and why we picked it

We buy in the categories we use ourselves: audio, gaming, photography, smart home, garden and travel. Every range is chosen by two buyers who order samples first, which is why the catalogue holds around 4,000 products instead of forty thousand.

How an order leaves the building

Everything is stocked in our own warehouse on the Overschiestraat in Amsterdam, packed the same working day if you order before 22:00, and collected by PostNL or DHL that evening. Nothing is drop-shipped from a third party, so the box on your doormat is one we put together.
